  2. From this first round, I am thinking I can guess which four people let chance choose their teams--could be wrong, of course. When I saw I got the team in whose glory I shared last time around, I let out a "Yes!" (Carol Barrera)

  3. Names are appearing on the second round. I am glued to the computer screen, crossing off teams that now have five. Happy that Rodrigo and I both have Netherlands, so that we can route for the same team when they play. (Carol B.)

  4. Here I am watching the screen for the third round, and the names stopped appearing just two spaces from my name, about 30 minutes ago. The suspense is killing me. (Carol B.)

  5. Names appearing for half of the third round, but stopped appearing over 30 minutes ago, with only one name to be filled in before mine. Not sure if the process just isn't through or if my Interent has problems. The suspense is killed me. The next three teams available on my list are France, Portugal and Switzerland. (Carol B.)

  6. Rethinking my above post. Maybe there is no suspense. If my record keeping is correct, I will get France, because even if Andrew chooses France, he would be number four, so I would be the 5th to get France. (Carol B.)

  7. Yep, I was right. Got France. Not my favorite team, but "ni modo". (Carol B.)

  9. I may not have Internet service tomorrow to see the 4th round posted then, but looking at the teams on my picks and the 18 people who will get their last pick ahead of me, I am predicting that I will get Algeria. (Carol B.)

  11. Thanks, Derek! It is gratifying to know that there is an audience out there. I hope as we get closer to the event, there will be comments from more people. I enjoy reading what others think. (Carol B.)

  12. I love the comments here and on twitter. I had a way of putting comments on the right side of this webpage, but it stopped working two days ago. Hopefully I'll be able to figure it out and it will encourage more comments.

  13. Well, I didn't get Algeria, as I had predicted. But I would have, were it not for the fact that so many of the 18 people getting picks before me this round chose teams that were towards the bottom of my list. I had predicted Algeria for me on the basis of those before me choosing teams that were high on my remaining list. Not thrilled with England. I haven't like that team since Michael Owen was one of their star players. Rachel or Bill--interested in trading England for Algeria? (Carol B.)

  14. Fourth round of draw and Cuadruplets

    4 Latin American teams: Emmett
4 continents represented in their teams: James, Josh and CollinsBoys
4 European teams: Brian G., Gray and Carol B. (ironic, since I have always preferred the Latin style of playing)
